FAQs
How to prepare my dog for a Arizona Walk?
I always recommend a body harness, water bottle or a roped leash over prong or metal collars, especially in temperatures over 98 degrees. However, if that's your preference, I will always follow your lead. I highly suggest carrying a water bottle with you on the go! You can find a slightly bigger one on the main page for less than 20 bucks, which comes with a treat dispenser and a mini doggy bag. I also recommend lowering the AC slightly before going for a walk and keeping frozen water or ice cubes to keep the water cool for your dog's hydration or 0 calorie ice chip treat to snack on.
What’s best a Drop in or a Walk ?
🐾 It's advisable to take your pup's activity level into account. Early morning before 10am or evening walks after 6:45pm are best during Arizona summers, unless your dog is accustomed to the heat or high temperatures. Booties are highly recommended during the summer season.
🐾 Drop-in visits are better suited for puppies, cats, senior care, or dependent dogs in need of some indoor care. This option may also be suitable if you're away from home and your pet requires medication and feeding.
